Hybridity

 

         What I have learned about hybridity is that hybridity is the combination of one or more art forms needed to get the point across to the viewer. Contemporary artist use hybridity by combining photography's, paintings, animations, and films. For example the artist Kate Steciw combines the use of sculptures and photography's. In the picture above Kate Steciw photographs a modern piece made up of long cylindrical shapes all intertwined in a complex fashion that are draped over the ceiling supports. In my films I could use hybridity in the by using animations in some of my scenes. During my investigation I found that animation the most interesting and would like to try and experiment with animation more in my second film.
